Audio Cassette Transfer

Description

Convert your Audio Cassettes tapes to CD, USB Flash Drive or Downloadable file:

• Price is per cassette transferred, the same for all tape lengths e.g. 60, 90 and 120 minutes or bespoke.
• Audio transfer is offered in common compressed (MP3, AAC) and  uncompressed (WAV, AIFF) formats as standard, we have recently also added support for e.g. OGG (Vorbis), FLAC and ALAC etc. Please contact us for others.
• Uncompressed audio consists of sound waves that have been captured and converted to a digital format without any further processing. As a result, uncompressed Audio files tend take up a lot of space, about 35 MBytes for a 24-bit, 96 kHz stereo track. Compressed files for a track can be around 5 MBytes, with little discernible difference in quality.
• Download link is offered as standard with options to make a copy to CD or USB Flash Drive.
• Where possible track markers are added, so you can skip from track to track like a CD. Although there needs to be a 2 second gap between tracks on original recordings to enable this.
• Original cassette tapes are returned, with your media, via a signed for courier service included in the price, although we can recycle, if you wish, but only once you are happy with the transfer; please add a note to your order if this is required.
• Audio is backed up for 90 days on a secure server, to download and share with family and friends; the download link provided as soon as order is processed.
